The show Reflet (Reflection) by artist Xuan Le - a French-Vietnamese choreographer and dancer who won the French freestyle slalom championship - after performances in many places around the world will reunite with Vietnamese audiences in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Hue, and Da Nang from the end of May.
The tour starts in Da Nang on the night of May 26, then Ho Chi Minh City on the night of May 29, Hue on the night of June 1 and Hanoi on the night of June 4 (Tuoi Tre Theater).
Reflection is a cross between contemporary dance, hip hop, roller skating and visual arts.
The show promises to take the audience into a world of subtlety and emotion. Xuan Le is the author and performer of this work, along with Taiwanese artist and choreographer Shihya PENG.
According to the organizer's introduction, former French champion in the freestyle slalom competition Xuan Le on roller skates in a state of weightlessness will draw the audience into a vortex of intense yet extremely calm energy, making viewers question their origins and the relationships woven in life through movements.
The journey continues in a duo dance with artist Shihya PENG, questioning the duality of existence through poetic body language.
Reflection is the second work that Xuan Le introduced to Vietnamese audiences, after the success of the play Loop in 2019.
