The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has issued Decision No. 2844/QD-BVHTTDL on organizing the Photo Exhibition "Colors of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups". The exhibition will take place from November 17 to 23, 2023 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism.

The purpose of organizing the photo exhibition "Colors of Vietnamese ethnic groups" is to create a collection of beautiful, typical, and unique photos of 54 Vietnamese ethnic groups to serve the State's introduction, propaganda, and promotion work during festivals, major events, and cultural and artistic exchange activities at home and abroad.

Through introducing the photo collection to the public, creating favorable conditions for people in the country and international friends to enjoy works of art and learn about the culture, life and people of the Vietnamese ethnic groups.

In addition, improving the quality of cultural life construction associated with preserving and promoting cultural values in the National Target Program on socio -economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas; improving the level of cultural enjoyment for ethnic minorities, with priority given to ethnic minorities with very small populations.

It is expected that the exhibition will display about 160 works showing the unique and characteristic cultural features in the life, living habits, traditional costumes, religious activities, festivals... of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.
