3 consecutive years of joining hands to promote Quang Tri culture and tourism

Quang Tri, a central province with a long history, unique culture and great tourism potential, is increasingly attracting the attention of domestic and foreign tourists. However, to promote sustainable economic development, in addition to improving the quality of tourism services, it is necessary to promote cultural and culinary promotion activities to open up business opportunities for many businesses in the key tourism industry. Therefore, in the past 2 years, the locality has focused on implementing large-scale promotion programs with the support of central authorities and businesses.

In 2023, the Vietnam Culture - Cuisine Festival will be held for 3 days from April 28-30 under the direction of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Quang Tri province, with the support of Saigon Beer - Alcohol - Beverage Corporation (SABECO) and Saigon Beer brand. The successful event attracted more than 30,000 visitors who not only came to experience the rich diversity of Vietnamese cuisine but also provided an opportunity for tourists to explore local tourism.

Continuing that success, in July 2024, SABECO, together with Saigon Beer North Central Trading Joint Stock Company and Saigon Beer brand, will continue to accompany the Cultural - Culinary Festival "Taste of the Sunny Land" within the framework of the Festival for Peace - one of the province's major events, contributing to attracting more than 3 million tourists to Quang Tri in 2024.

By 2025, SABECO has extended its corporate support for Quang Tri by sponsoring for the 5th consecutive year the Tien Phong Marathon season 66, which took place on March 28-30 in Dong Ha city.

As one of the oldest, most traditional and largest marathons in Vietnam, Tien Phong Marathon is considered an opportunity for Quang Tri to introduce its natural beauty, culture and unique values ​​to a large number of tourists across the country. It is estimated that more than 7,000 athletes participated in this year's race with the theme "Khuc Khai Hoan" to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

Enduring mission for local development

Committed to creating positive values ​​for the company and its related partners - including the localities where the company operates, SABECO has also coordinated with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union to implement many programs in Quang Tri, aiming at the sustainable development of the locality. Among them, we can mention the 1 km project "Lighting up the border" in A Bung commune, Dakrong district and the community sports field in Binh An village, Thanh An commune, Cam Lo district within the framework of the project "Step Up Sports".

With a 36 km border stretching across 33 provinces across the country, a lighting system consisting of 1,260 solar-powered lamp posts, the “Lighting the Border” project will be implemented by the end of 2024 with the goal of improving living conditions for people, helping them travel more safely. Meanwhile, “Sports Step Up” will be implemented for 3 years (2022-2024) to invest in upgrading 30 community sports fields in 30 provinces and cities, aiming to promote a balanced, active lifestyle in the community.
