Spread joy and share love

Starting in Phu Yen, the program “63 connections - 1 Tet reunion” will spread to communities across 63 provinces and cities of Vietnam through meaningful activities, demonstrating the scale and comprehensive commitment of SABECO . From now until January 24, SABECO will give away Tet gifts with a total value of more than 6.1 billion VND, including more than 7,000 gifts for workers, fishermen and border guards - those who make important contributions to the economy and national sovereignty.

Each gift includes a lucky money envelope worth VND300,000 and necessities worth VND550,000. In addition, SABECO will join local authorities to visit and present gifts at border posts in Dak Nong, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa and Ca Mau provinces, along with best wishes and gratitude for the tireless dedication of the border guards.

In addition, SABECO will coordinate with local authorities to organize community events imbued with the Tet atmosphere in key provinces and cities. A highlight of these events is the “New Year's Eve Touch” experience area, where attendees can immediately receive gifts and Tet wishes from SABECO when interacting with the touch screen to welcome the new year, and share via social media platforms, helping to spread the joy of Tet to everyone in all regions of the country. Following Phu Yen , the series of events will continue to 23 other provinces and cities and will be customized to suit the culture and characteristics of each locality.

Honoring cultural heritage and giving thanks for worthiness

Sharing about this year's initiative, Mr. Lester Tan, General Director of SABECO, expressed his deep gratitude to the workers who have contributed to Vietnam's economic strength, contributing greatly to the country's growth in 2024. However, not everyone has the conditions to enjoy a prosperous Tet.

“The ‘63 Connections – 1 Happy Tet’ initiative aims to honor the unsung heroes – workers, fishermen, and border guards – who have worked tirelessly to build the country. We hope to bring a warm and joyful Tet to them and their families, thereby strengthening community ties and encouraging everyone to look forward to a prosperous new year.”

“As a proud enterprise with a team of more than 8,000 employees and a network of 26 breweries nationwide, SABECO understands the traditional values of Tet. This is an opportunity for us to celebrate our heritage and strengthen our ties with the communities where SABECO operates. Thanks to our nationwide network and deep ties with local communities, we understand and appreciate the unique Tet cultural features of each locality and ensure that our programs are inclusive and unique.”

SABECO's annual Tet community programs are an integral part of its ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) strategy, aiming to bring positive values to SABECO and its partners while contributing to the sustainable development of the community. Over the years, SABECO has implemented programs such as "SABECO Tet - Chung Mot Nha" (2022) to honor frontline forces fighting the COVID-19 pandemic, "Cung Coi May Tet" (2023) to support workers who cannot return home to celebrate Tet, and "Tet Se Chia, Nam Rong Khoi Sac" (2024) to accompany workers, fishermen and border guards who have contributed to the development of the country. This year's "63 Ket Ket - 1 Tet Sum Vay" program will continue to affirm SABECO's commitment to supporting the community.

Beyond the Tet campaigns, SABECO has also made a lasting positive impact on community development through initiatives such as “Lighting up the Countryside” and “Lighting up the Borders” with 106 km of solar lights in 63 provinces. The “Sports Step Up” program has upgraded 30 community playgrounds, and “SABECO Sports Hub 2024 - Connecting the Vietnamese Spirit” promotes unity through sports and culture in 36 provinces.
