According to the shared image, the Galaxy S25 Edge has an ultra-thin body of only 5.8mm, using a perforated design to accommodate the selfie camera. The device will have a pill-shaped dual camera cluster on the back with the top edge housing the microphone.
Meanwhile, the right side of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge houses the power button as well as the volume up and down buttons. The bottom edge of the device houses the SIM tray, microphone, USB-C charging port, and speaker.
Previously, a leaked video showed the Galaxy S25 Edge next to current high-end smartphones such as the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Accordingly, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is slightly shorter than the S25 Ultra and much thinner. Notably, the device is much wider and longer than the iPhone 16 when placed side by side. However, both smartphones have a flat back and a vertical camera cluster in the upper left corner. Compared to the iPhone 16 Plus, the Galaxy S25 Edge is slightly more compact.
A report from FNNews also said that Samsung will launch the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13 and officially open for sale on May 23. Pre-orders will be accepted by the Korean technology company from May 14 to 20.
Samsung will announce the colors, price, and specifications of the Galaxy S25 Edge at the launch event. Not only is it expected to be the company's thinnest smartphone ever, but it's also a lightweight device that promises to be more comfortable and pleasant to hold.
