Lien Khuong Airport temporarily stops receiving aircraft due to the impact of storm No. 13

On the evening of November 6, Lien Khuong International Airport in Lam Dong province announced that due to the impact of storm No. 13, it will temporarily stop receiving aircraft from 7:00 p.m. the same day to 0:00 a.m. on November 7.

Accordingly, 4 flights will be affected and unable to arrive and depart from Lien Khuong Airport during the above period. Lien Khuong Airport leaders added that on November 7, if there are no abnormalities, aircraft reception activities here will take place normally.

According to Lam Dong Province Hydrometeorological Station, by the afternoon of November 6, there was heavy rain in the area, locally very heavy rain in some places, total rainfall for the period was about 100-200mm, in some places higher than 250mm.

Lien Khuong Airport is located at an altitude of nearly 1,000m above sea level, in Duc Trong commune (Lam Dong province), with a runway 3,250m long, 45m wide, meeting the exploitation of Code D aircraft such as B757, A300 and equivalent or lower. Currently, the airport can serve a maximum of 40 flights/day (equivalent to 8,000 passengers/day).
