Van Don Airport temporarily suspends flights on September 7

According to news from Van Don International Airport, due to the complicated developments of storm No. 3 (YAGI) which is forecast to be very strong, with a high level of natural disaster risk, the possibility of affecting and threatening the safety of operations at airports..., implementing the direction from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam and Quang Ninh province, the Airport will temporarily stop receiving and operating aircraft from 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on September 7.

Van Don International Airport staff deployed lashing and moved equipment to a safe location.

According to the plan, on September 7, at Van Don International Airport, there will be 2 flights landing at 8:05 am and taking off at 8:50 am by Vietnam Airlines . Therefore, this flight will be canceled.
