Doan Di Bang's husband's company product: Sun protection index is 50 but tested at 2.4

The Drug Administration of Vietnam (Ministry of Health) has just issued a decision to suspend circulation, recall and destroy the entire batch of Hanayuki Sunscreen Body products (box of 1 tube of 100g) because the sun protection index on the label is SPF 50 but the test result is SPF 2.4.

According to the product label, the batch has PCB receipt number: 779/24/CBMP-DN; batch number: 0010125; production date: 060125; expiry date: 050127.

The organization responsible for bringing the product to market is VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited (HCMC); EBC Group Company Limited - now EBC Dong Nai Medical Factory Joint Stock Company - (Giang Dien Industrial Park, Dong Nai) produces.

The test results conducted by the Ho Chi Minh City Drug Testing Institute showed that the sun protection factor on the label (SPF 50) did not match the test results of the sun protection factor of the sample (SPF: 2.4). SPF is an index that measures the ability of sunscreen to protect the skin from UVB rays.

According to the declaration form, the product's features and uses are to protect the skin from the sun, nourish the skin and whiten the whole body, but does not state that the product has an SPF of 50 as on the product label.

Therefore, the Drug Administration of Vietnam requests to suspend circulation and recall nationwide the above product batch.

According to Tuoi Tre Online , VB Group Trading and Service Company Limited is the legal entity behind the Hanayuki cosmetics brand. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Vu - singer Doan Di Bang's husband - is the legal representative and general director of the company.

Recently, Doan Di Bang has also become a "brand face" to bring products to the market.

Previously, on May 7, the Drug Administration of Vietnam ( Ministry of Health ) issued a decision to suspend circulation, recall and destroy the entire batch of Hanayuki Shampoo products (300g bottles) also from the above two companies.

The reason is that the test results showed that the product sample violated the microbial limits and contained 2-Phenoxyethanol - an ingredient not included in the registered and published formula.

At that time, on her personal page, Doan Di Bang explained about the recalled shampoo product. She shared that the manufacturing company - EBC Dong Nai - when receiving information about the problem with the Hanayuki Shampoo batch, the company organized an internal inspection to find out the reason why the Hanayuki Shampoo product exceeded the microbial limit and reviewed the formula ingredients.

The company accepts responsibility for the above incident, which greatly affected the business operations of VB Group.

But not only shampoo products, just after a week another product of these two companies was recalled nationwide.
