Hunting for concert tickets online - be careful or you'll lose money and get in trouble.

The scarcity of concert tickets has created favorable conditions for the activities of ticket scalpers, a form of secondary ticket business with prices often pushed up much higher than the official listed price.

On April 10, the new concert of the show "Anh trai say hi" just opened for ticket sales and quickly "sold out", making many fans regretful.

To satisfy their needs, many fans have chosen unofficial ticket sales channels, an action that carries many potential risks and requires vigilance.

The scarcity of concert tickets has created favorable conditions for the activities of ticket scalpers, a form of secondary ticket business with prices often pushed up much higher than the official listed price. This situation not only causes difficulties for genuine fans but also opens up opportunities for fraudulent behavior, making it easy for those who buy tickets through unofficial channels to "lose money and get sick."

An audience member was scammed when trying to buy tickets through groups.

As the event approaches, there is growing anxiety among fans about not having tickets yet. With the ticket “fever” still not cooling down, many people have accepted the risk, willing to transfer money to receive online ticket codes from groups.

Mr. Thanh Cong ( Hanoi ) said: "Because I couldn't find the tickets in time, I was quite worried that I wouldn't have any tickets to participate, so I planned to buy them through a Facebook account at a price that was quite different from the original price. However, after checking again, I realized that this was not a reputable account, and always asked for a transfer, so I stopped."

Unlike Mr. Thanh Cong, Ms. Thanh Nga ( Yen Bai ) became the victim of a ticket scam through an impersonated online account.

She shared: “I carefully checked the seller’s reputation, even asked for ID and verified the account number with others, and initially felt quite secure. However, after transferring the deposit of half the ticket price, I was shocked to realize that I had been scammed.”

According to information from victims who have suffered losses from the same account holder, these scammers often use a single QR code for many different transactions, and immediately disappear after receiving the deposit.

More worryingly, there is collusion between sellers and administrators of disreputable groups, forming an organized fraud network. Another extremely dangerous form is asking for a deposit in advance, promising to transact directly at the concert venue, but on the appointed day, the seller completely "disappears."

The scarcity of tickets has created opportunities for ticket scalpers to operate strongly. With tempting offers and sophisticated tricks, they easily exploit the impatience of fans, causing many to lose their guard. This fraudulent behavior not only causes financial losses but also erodes public confidence in the transparency of cultural events. Therefore, raising awareness and thoroughly researching information is extremely important.

Mr. Tran Xuan Hoa (Hanoi) founded the group "Pass and exchange tickets Anh trai say hi Day 6 Hanoi - Day 7 Da Nang ," an online community with more than 7,000 members, acting as a trusted intermediary channel.

The group's main goal is to create a transparent trading environment that helps fans avoid the common pitfalls of scams in the ticket market, where sophisticated tricks can easily catch buyers off guard.

To protect the interests of members, Mr. Hoa regularly provides information about social media accounts and bank accounts suspected of fraud, creating conditions for people to identify and prevent effectively.

"Everyone needs to be calm and alert. If you have to buy resale tickets, you need to check the information carefully, do not deposit, and transact directly to ensure safety," Xuan Hoa shared some "secrets" when buying resale tickets.

In the context of the ticket "fever" that has not cooled down, many people have accepted the risk and are willing to look for tickets from groups.

The organizers and the fan community also called on and warned everyone to stay calm, not to buy tickets on the black market, not to buy from ticket brokers and wait for official information from the organizers. At the same time, some fans also proposed some measures to prevent fraud from ticket brokers.

In order to prevent ticket fraud at music shows and events, Hanoi City Police recommends that people be vigilant when buying tickets. Before making any transaction, it is extremely necessary to carefully assess the seller's reputation. People should absolutely not rush to transfer money without verifying the authenticity of the transaction.

Prioritizing direct payment and transaction methods is encouraged to ensure the transparency and authenticity of tickets. Protect your passion with sobriety, avoid letting it become an obsession caused by fraudulent behavior. When detecting suspicious signs, people need to quickly notify the police to take timely measures to prevent and handle according to the law./.
