According to the Program of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, on the morning of May 26, the National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall to listen to the Presentation and the Report on the examination of the draft Law on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters; then the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Law on State Budget (amended).

In the afternoon, the National Assembly held a plenary session in the hall to listen to the Presentation and the Report on the examination of the draft Law on Judicial Assistance in Civil Matters; then the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Civil Procedure Code, the Administrative Procedure Law, the Juvenile Justice Law, the Bankruptcy Law and the Law on Mediation and Dialogue at Court.

It is expected that in the 4th working week of the 9th Session (from May 26 to May 29), the National Assembly will discuss the following draft laws: Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Penal Code; Law on State Budget (amended); Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Civil Procedure Code, the Administrative Procedure Law, the Juvenile Justice Law, the Bankruptcy Law and the Law on Mediation and Dialogue at Court; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Criminal Procedure Code; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Planning Law; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Economical and Efficient Use of Energy; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Credit Institutions; Law on amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Vietnamese Nationality.

The National Assembly also discussed the draft Resolutions: Resolution of the National Assembly amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Internal Regulations of the National Assembly session issued together with Resolution No. 71/2022/QH15 of the National Assembly; Resolution of the National Assembly on reducing value-added tax; Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting the People's Procuracy in initiating civil lawsuits to protect the civil rights of vulnerable groups or to protect public interests.

In addition, the National Assembly will vote to pass the National Assembly Resolution on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for social housing development; the National Assembly will listen to the Submissions and Examination Reports on: the draft Law on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters; the draft Law on Mutual Legal Assistance in Civil Matters; the draft Law on State of Emergency; and the draft Law on Railways (amended)./.
