The night tour “Tran Vu Bell” lasts 90 minutes and is held weekly with about 100 guests/program. This is the first cultural-spiritual tourism product combined with live performances designed at the most sacred temple in ancient Thang Long - Quan Thanh Temple (also known as Tran Bac, Tran Vu Quan). The goal of the new tourism product is to preserve and promote heritage values, promote sustainable and effective tourism and economic development.
Inspired by the traditional festival celebrating the coming of Saint Huyen Thien Tran Vu to bestow blessings - a sacred ritual held annually at Quan Thanh Temple, the program takes visitors on a journey steeped in legends, folklore and long-standing beliefs of the Vietnamese people. The elaborate live performances, harmoniously combining tangible and intangible culture, revive memories of a sacred land associated with the ancient capital.
The special highlight of the program is the stories associated with traditional craft villages such as Truc Bach - where the Trinh court ladies used to weave silk for the king, or Ngu Xa bronze casting village - where exquisite bronze artifacts are crafted and are still preserved in the temple. Through the emotional stage language, the night tour recounts the thousand-year-old cultural values of Thang Long in a close, lively and humane way, opening a new direction in renewing heritage to connect with the present and the future.
In order to spread the positive effects of the night tour, the Monument Management Board has built a fanpage “Quan Thanh Temple”, positioned the brand “Sacred Four Towns - Eternal Beauty”, and launched a separate visual identity for the monument. This is a professional step forward in heritage communication, modernizing the approach to get closer to the public.
In addition to the night tour, many cultural and experiential activities at Quan Thanh Temple are also regularly organized, such as displaying 25 calligraphy paintings praising the merits of Saint Huyen Thien Tran Vu, a space recreating the old Tet and the image of scholars in tents, experiencing calligraphy at the beginning of the year or wearing traditional costumes such as Ao Nhat Binh, Tu Than, Ngu Than...
The organizers expect the “Tran Vu Bell” night tour to not only be a journey of discovery but also a bridge connecting the thousand-year-old cultural depth and the modern life of the capital, contributing to enriching the night experience for visitors, extending their stay and increasing the value of Hanoi tourism .
