The protected area of the relic is determined according to the Minutes of the protected area zoning and the Map of the protected area zoning in the relic scientific dossier.
The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the People's Committee of Muong Khuong district to develop a plan to protect, restore, manage and use the scenic relic of Goc Gang cave in accordance with current regulations of the State.
Goc Gang Cave is a natural beauty spot formed through geological tectonic movements lasting thousands of years. This is a shallow cave, 151.46 m long. Inside the cave, there are many beautiful stalactites with unique shapes that have a special appeal to tourists who love to explore and experience. Besides its aesthetic value, Goc Gang Cave also contains many archaeological values, and experts believe that it is very likely to be the area where ancient people once lived.
Goc Gang Cave is located in the rocky mountain in the border area between Lung Vai village and Giap Cu village, Lung Vai commune, Muong Khuong district, about 50m from the main road, so traveling is quite convenient.
