Ready for the biggest children's football festival in Thanh Hoa

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On the morning of May 27, the Organizing Committee of the 4th Thanh Hoa Newspaper Children's Football Tournament, 2025 - Long Son Cement Cup held a conference to review preparations and agree on the implementation plan for the tournament.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Duy Tu, Head of the Organizing Committee chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Thanh Hoa Football Federation, Thanh Hoa Newspaper, Department ofEducation and Training, Viet Hung Development Joint Stock Company - the organizer of the tournament, Quang Xuong district - the host and sponsor of the tournament.

Delegates heard an overview report on the preparation for the tournament, emphasizing professional work, assignment of tasks, inspection of personnel, referees, media, facilities, and ensuring security and health during the tournament.

This year, the tournament is expected to gather nearly 50 U8 and U10 football teams from 26 districts, towns and cities, with the support of the main sponsor, Long Son Cement Company.

Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Hoa Newspaper Hoang Anh Tuan informed about the propaganda plan that is being actively implemented.

The Organizing Committee said that it will soon send a list of places to eat and stay to the participating teams, ensuring good conditions and stable prices. Medical work is also carefully prepared, the Organizing Committee has worked with Medlatec Hospital to arrange medical staff on duty at the competition venues.

Speaking at the conference, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Duy Tu, Head of the Organizing Committee, emphasized: "From the success of the previous three seasons, it is necessary to continue to promote the spirit of coordination, professional and thoughtful organization to bring a quality season, spreading the pure sports spirit to all regions of Thanh Hoa."

Mr. Nguyen Duy Tu also highly appreciated the effectiveness of livestreaming in previous seasons and expressed his belief that this year will continue to promote and spread the tournament to a large audience.

Mr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Hoa Newspaper, affirmed that propaganda plans, especially livestreaming the tournament, are being actively implemented.

The Organizing Committee reminds teams to complete and submit their applications by the deadline of May 31. This year, the application review process will continue to be strictly implemented. Thanh Hoa Football Federation and Viet Hung Development Joint Stock Company will coordinate with the Provincial Police to ensure the accuracy and transparency of the personnel participating in the tournament.

The Organizing Committee has also agreed on the time for personnel inspection, referee training and tournament management. The qualifying and final matches will take place from June 7 to 14 at the Quang Xuong District Stadium and Gymnasium.
