Inauguration of the wastewater drainage and environmental sanitation project in Beo village residential area

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Recently, in Vinh Long commune, Vinh Loc district, the inauguration ceremony of the wastewater drainage and environmental sanitation project in Beo village residential area took place.

Delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to inaugurate the wastewater drainage and environmental sanitation project in Beo village residential area.

Attending the ceremony were representatives of the leaders: Department of Foreign Affairs of Thanh Hoa province, People's Committee of Vinh Loc district, NongHyup Bank (NH), GNI Organization, leaders of local government of Vinh Long commune and people of Beo village.

The project "Wastewater treatment and environmental sanitation in residential areas" in Beo village, Vinh Long commune (Vinh Loc) was proposed by author Nguyen The He and became one of 6 typical projects selected to be implemented in the "Changemakers" contest organized by GNI in coordination with NH Bank. The project has implemented many activities such as cleaning grass, cleaning the environment; building wastewater drainage ditches around residential areas; communicating about environmental sanitation... attracting the participation of many local people. The project has made an important contribution to raising people's awareness of environmental protection and solving the problem of environmental pollution caused by large-scale livestock farming in the locality. The wastewater drainage ditch project has been put into use since the end of April 2025, managed and maintained by the Beo village community/group.
