According to Dan Tri reporter, candidates arrived at the exam site quite early, preparing themselves mentally for the exam.
Sharing with us, Huong Giang (Hoang Liet ward, Hoang Mai district) said that although the procedure time this morning was quite late (9am), she woke up at 5am, had breakfast, and prepared to go to the exam location to do the procedure.
Last night, after preparing all the pens, ink, and papers, this female student put all her books and studies aside to go to bed early. Therefore, this morning she was in a better mood.
Ms. Thu Huong, Huong Giang's mother, asked for 3 days off from work (Friday, Saturday and Monday) to fully focus on taking her child to the exam. To ensure safety, she cooked breakfast at home.

According to Ms. Huong, Huong Giang has the best academic performance in the class and has won many district-level literature awards.
However, facing the difficult exam, the family is still extremely worried. "My child chose to change the exam area, the first choice is Kim Lien High School - one of the schools with the highest standard scores in the public sector. In addition, my child chose to take the exam at Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted and placed his wish at a school with a lower standard score near home.
Normally, Huong Giang studies for exams at school and takes extra classes outside for math and literature. Although she is a good student, perhaps with the heat of the exam, the closer it gets to "G-hour", the more worried her family becomes," said Ms. Huong.
This year, Hanoi has more than 103,000 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam to public high schools. On the morning of June 5, 201 teachers assigned to be the heads of the examination sites officially took up their duties.
The examination sites held leadership meetings, assigned specific tasks to each member in the spirit of "clear people, tight work", and at the same time reviewed and inspected all facilities; received stationery, exam papers, scratch paper, etc.
After receiving the handover of facilities from the host school, the heads of the examination sites confirmed that the sites have ensured safety conditions and are ready to welcome candidates to register for the exam this morning.
Hanoi has arranged 201 official examination sites with more than 4,400 examination rooms, along with a system of backup examination sites in districts, towns, and cities, ready to respond to unexpected situations such as bad weather, power outages, or other objective factors.

According to the leader of the Department of Education and Training, the reason this exam is always "hot" is because Hanoi always lacks public schools due to rapid urbanization but lack of land.
This year, there are 40 high schools in the city being repaired and renovated, so the number of exam sites in middle schools has increased compared to last year.
Some middle schools are being used as testing sites for the first time, so they may not have the required camera surveillance system, lack loudspeaker phones, have power backup devices, or have security cabinets that do not have separate compartments for exam questions and test papers...
Therefore, the City Steering Committee for Examinations and Admissions has directed localities to carefully review and inspect these examination sites, ensuring that all work has been completed before the exam takes place.
This year’s 10th grade high school exam in Hanoi will take place on June 7-8 with 3 exams: math, literature, and foreign language. Math and literature will be essay-based (120 minutes), while foreign language will be multiple-choice (60 minutes). Candidates taking the specialized exam will take the specialized subject exam on June 9, for 150 minutes.
