Serious landslide on the road to Tay Giang Border Gate

On the afternoon of October 22, Mr. Zoram Buon, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hung Son Commune (Da Nang City) said that on the road leading to Tay Giang Border Gate (about 4 km from the border gate), near the turn to Atu village, a serious landslide occurred.

Accordingly, heavy rains lasting for many days in Da Nang City have caused serious landslides on the main road to Tay Giang border gate, cutting off traffic.

In particular, at Cha Noc intersection on Highway 14D, about 4 km from the border gate, near the turn to Atu village, thousands of cubic meters of rock and soil suddenly fell down, blocking the road, completely cutting off traffic.

Immediately after the incident, authorities urgently mobilized human resources and vehicles to the scene to fix the landslide and ensure traffic safety.

However, as rain continues and storm No. 12 is approaching, the risk of further landslides is very high.

Hung Son commune authorities recommend that people limit movement through landslide areas, especially during heavy rains to ensure safety.
