The Ministry of Education and Training has just sent an official dispatch to educational institutions to review and publish enrollment information for university and college levels in preschool education.

According to the Ministry, in recent days, the press and candidates have reported that some universities have announced incomplete enrollment information, with some information changing, causing anxiety and passivity among candidates.

The Ministry of Education and Training requires units to properly implement regulations and instructions on enrollment, review admission methods and combinations suitable for the training programs, majors, and groups of majors for each method to ensure fairness.

Notably, the Ministry requires that the rights of candidates not be affected, especially at the present time when candidates have completed registration for the 2025 high school graduation exam. Units are responsible for explaining any changes related to the admission method and combination.

The head of the unit is responsible for explaining the contents of the training institution's enrollment information and information related to the training institution's enrollment work fully and accurately.

The move was made after many candidates and parents reacted when some major universities changed their admission combinations, causing many candidates to fall into the situation of "failing before taking the exam".

According to records, up to now, there have been 5 major universities in the North that do not enroll many key majors in block C00 (combined literature, history, geography), including: University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Law (Vietnam National University, Hanoi), Hanoi Capital University, Hanoi Open University, Academy of Journalism and Communication (from 2024).

Instead, these schools prioritize combinations with math or English such as: C03 (math, literature, history), A07 (math, history, geography), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), D14 (literature, history, English) and D15 (literature, geography, English) or D66 (literature, economic and legal education, English)...

With this adjustment method, many candidates are extremely worried because they do not have the opportunity to be admitted to their favorite major.
