On September 26, the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc province signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to implement the "Samsung Hope School" project with Samsung Vietnam and Korea Food for the Hungry International (KFHI) in Korea.
The "Samsung Hope School" project in Binh Phuoc will be built in Dong Xoai City with modern equipment and a synchronous system including: classrooms, multi-purpose halls, libraries, football fields... This is also the place to implement the "Children Development Program" for 300-500 disadvantaged students from primary to secondary school.
Samsung Hope School is the 5th school invested in and built in Vietnam.
Students will have the opportunity to be trained and develop talents such as music , fine arts, English; experience different career-oriented training courses to determine their future careers; participate in sports activities, exhibitions or travel...
Ms. Tran Tue Hien, Chairwoman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee, called this one of Samsung's key social responsibility projects with the mission of spreading knowledge, sharing vision and creating the future for the young generation. The project contributes to providing opportunities for children in difficult circumstances to live and study in a healthy, dynamic environment, explore their dreams and develop comprehensively.
Ms. Tran Tue Hien, Chairwoman of Binh Phuoc Provincial People's Committee, presented a painting to Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam Company.
It is known that this is the 5th school of hope built by Samsung in Vietnam and also the first school in the south.
Previous projects have been implemented in many provinces and cities such as Bac Ninh (2013), Thai Nguyen (2018), Bac Giang (2021), Lang Son (2022), contributing to providing learning and development opportunities for more than 5,000 children in difficult circumstances.
Mr. Choi Joo Ho, General Director of Samsung Vietnam Company, hopes to see the completed image of Samsung's school of hope in the near future.
