Previously, Cambodia held the Torch Relay Ceremony for the 32nd SEA Games and the 12th ASEAN Para Games at Angkor Wat Temple. The torch is considered a symbol of energy, solidarity and longevity, which are values that connect the relationship between sports and daily life. This Torch Relay Ceremony is not only to share Cambodia's pride as the host country but also to strengthen the friendship between Cambodia and all countries in the ASEAN region.

At its first destination, Vietnam, the 32nd SEA Games torch was carried by athlete Nguyen Thi Huyen, guests, delegates and 300 athletes and sports students on the route from the Cambodian Embassy to Hoan Kiem Lake and back to the original starting point, with a total length of 3km. On March 25, the torch left Vietnam for Manila, Philippines. Then, throughout its journey, the torch will pass through Bandar Seri Begawan (Brunei Darussalam), Jakarta (Indonesia), Dili (Timor Leste), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Singapore, Bangkok (Thailand), Yangon and Naypyidaw (Myanmar) and the final destination is Vientiane (Laos) on April 25.

On April 27, the 32nd SEA Games torch will return to the host country Cambodia to continue its domestic journey until May 5, the opening day of the 32nd Southeast Asian Games. On May 5, the torch will be carried to the Morodok Techo National Stadium to prepare to light the torch stand at the Opening Ceremony, marking the official opening of the 32nd SEA Games and also the first SEA Games hosted by Cambodia.

Deputy Minister Hoang Dao Cuong and delegates took souvenir photos at the Cambodian Embassy during the 32nd SEA Games Torch Relay Ceremony.

The logo of the 32nd SEA Games includes a stylized image of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Angkor Wat, along with the ASEAN symbol and four Neak dragons (Naga in Pali, meaning purity) entwined with each other. For the Khmer people, the dragon is a symbol of peace, a bridge between the human world and the heavens, a symbol of powerful power to protect the lives and property of mankind. The four green, red, blue and yellow dragons entwined together represent the unity and diversity of the Southeast Asian community. Yellow, considered a symbol of the Kingdom of Cambodia, represents prosperity, health and happiness, and was chosen as the main color for this logo.

The mascots for the SEA Games are two rabbits, Rumduol and Borey, both dressed in traditional Khmer costumes. The male rabbit is named Borey, symbolizing the unity of the countries in the region. The female rabbit is named Romdoul, named after Cambodia's national flower. These adorable rabbits were chosen as mascots for the 32nd Games, originating from a Cambodian folk tale, representing strong values in Buddhist philosophy, inspiration, fairness and knowledge. The choice of two rabbits as mascots also represents gender equality in sports activities.

The slogan “Sport: Live in Peace” of the 32nd SEA Games is inspired by the peaceful and stable life of the Kingdom of Cambodia today. Sports is also considered a catalyst for the economic and social transformation of the Kingdom of Cambodia. To achieve the goal of becoming a middle-income country by 2030, Cambodia needs a strong will and constant striving, in which the 32nd SEA Games will be the driving force for the strong transformation of this Kingdom.
