Digitizing party member records in Ly Nhan

Implementing the direction of the Provincial Party Standing Committee on digitizing party member records of local party agencies, recently, grassroots party organizations in Ly Nhan district have urgently implemented and determined to complete the project on schedule.

On November 29, 2024, the Party Central Committee issued Decision No. 204-QD/TW approving the Digital Transformation Project in Party agencies, Ha Nam province was selected to pilot the digitization of party member records. Implementing Action Program No. 134-CTr/TU dated February 28, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Ha Nam Provincial Party Committee to implement Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, Ly Nhan District Party Committee has directed its grassroots party organizations to seriously and resolutely deploy contents to serve the digitization of party member records in the area.

Ly Nhan District Party Committee currently has 26 affiliated grassroots party organizations with more than 10,000 party member profiles, including deceased, active, and retired party members. To effectively digitize party member records, the Standing Committee of Ly Nhan District Party Committee has focused on leading and directing the work of reviewing and updating digitized party member records. At the same time, the Organizing Committee of the District Party Committee has been assigned to guide and urge the subordinate grassroots party organizations to carry out the steps according to the plan, and coordinate with the working group of Ha Nam Provincial Police to carry out the digitization process.

Following the direction of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and the implementation guidance of the Organizing Committee of the District Party Committee, the Party Committees and Party cells have promptly established a working group to assist in the digitization of the Party member files of the unit, and quickly started to carry out the work of preparing Party member files, specifically: Reviewing, arranging, and managing Party member files, and at the same time classifying documents in Party member files in chronological order into document sets such as: Supplementing the table of contents of Party member files; documents in the document sets are arranged in chronological order; supplementing information in the files and coding the files according to the instructions of the superior Party Committee and the provisions of the Party Charter. In addition, the grassroots Party organizations have also done a good job of propagating to cadres and Party members about the importance of digitizing Party member files for archiving and preserving Party member files.

The Hoa Hau Commune Party Committee has 19 affiliated Party cells with 522 active Party members and 889 Party member files being stored and managed that need to be digitized. Implementing the policy of digitizing Party member files from the higher level, the Hoa Hau Commune Party Committee has urgently deployed and organized the implementation steps. Comrade Tran Huy Hai, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hoa Hau Commune Party Committee, said: Determining that digitizing Party member files is extremely important, the Party Committee has seriously grasped and implemented it in accordance with the instructions. Focusing on cadres to conduct inspections, classifications, and complete additions of information of Party member files stored in the commune according to the correct procedures. Arranging means and human resources to transfer Party member files to the location for digitizing files and supporting the digitization of Party member files according to regulations. By 8:00 p.m. on April 10, the commune had completed the digitization of the unit's files.

According to the staff in charge of classifying and scanning documents, many party member files are very old and the thin paper makes it difficult to number the pages of the documents, remove staples, and put them into the scanner, so they must be classified and done carefully to avoid tearing or damaging party member files and documents.

With the attention and encouragement of the District Party Committee leaders, along with the spirit of urgent and serious work, working without days off, the work of digitizing party member records in Ly Nhan district has achieved positive results. By the end of April 10, Ly Nhan district had completed the work of digitizing party member records of 21 commune and town party committees, striving to complete the digitization of party member records of the remaining branches, party committees and affiliated agencies before April 15.

The work of digitizing party member records aims to promote the implementation of digital transformation tasks, administrative reform, application of information technology in Party activities, improve the efficiency of management and storage of party record data, actively contribute to socio -economic development, building a clean and strong Party and political system in the locality.
