Dong Nai Department of Health transfers Nestlé Milo barley milk advertising case file to police investigation agency

(DN) - On the afternoon of May 29, Deputy Director of the Department of Health Vo Thi Ngoc Lam said that the Dong Nai Department of Health has just sent Document No. 2886/SYT-ATTP dated May 29, 2025 to the Department of Food Safety (Ministry of Health) and the People's Committee of Dong Nai province reporting on the progress of inspection and verification of information on advertising of Nestlé Milo barley milk supplement food products of Nestlé Vietnam Company Limited (Bien Hoa 2 Industrial Park, Bien Hoa city).

Accordingly, after receiving 2 reports sent to Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee on this issue, on May 28, 2025, the Department of Health coordinated with relevant departments and branches to organize a meeting to unify the handling of food safety inspection contents at Nestlé Vietnam Company Limited.

At the meeting, through inspection and review of related documents, representatives of the Department of Health and the inspection team agreed that the case had signs of consumer fraud, and customers should recommend that the Department of Health send a document transferring the case file to the police for investigation.

On May 29, 2025, the Department of Health issued a document transferring the case file and handing over all related documents to the police investigation agency to verify and handle the case in accordance with the provisions of law.
