Exciting summer camp "Finding roots"

DNO - On August 10, Ly Tu Trong Primary School, Hai Chau Ward, Da Nang City, in coordination with Khai Minh Duc Education System (Hanoi City) organized a summer camp "Finding the roots" for 350 students in grades 4 and 5 of the school.

Participating in the summer camp, students experienced useful activities with topics such as: Learning about the history of the nation, the origin of the Vietnamese people, following the 5 teachings of Uncle Ho"; talking with speakers on the topics of "Mealtime culture", "Greeting culture", "Gratitude" inspiring the mind to write letters of gratitude to parents, "Taking care of relatives, massaging backs, massaging shoulders, offering drinks", "Reading letters of gratitude to parents"...

Along with that, parents and students also participated in the discussion "Children's future is in the hands of parents", to orient how to educate children.

Ms. Tran Thi Le, Principal of Ly Tu Trong Primary School, said that the summer camp program "Finding the roots" aims to help students improve their understanding of historical traditions and national culture, as well as educate them about filial piety and polite behavior towards grandparents and parents.

Through fun activities, experiential learning and discovery , children will have the opportunity to develop communication skills, teamwork and solidarity.
