Exciting and dramatic 2025 An Duong District Traditional Men's Football Tournament

The tournament is held to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Hai Phong - Heroic City (May 13, 1955 - May 13, 2025), in response to the Red Flamboyant Festival and major holidays in April and May.

The Final match was exciting and dramatic between Tan Tien Ward and Hong Phong Ward. Despite being behind 0-1 in the first half, Tan Tien Ward team played with great effort and had an impressive comeback, scoring 2 consecutive goals in the last minutes of extra time, winning 3-2 overall and excellently winning the 2025 An Duong District Traditional Men's Football Championship Cup. An Hoa and Hong Thai Ward teams tied for third place.

This year’s tournament brings together 10 teams from wards in the district, competing in a round-robin format, selecting 4 teams to enter the Semi-finals and Finals, with a total of 15 matches. This is the second consecutive year the tournament is organized in an 11-player format, applying the competition rules of the World Football Federation (FIFA), aiming to gradually professionalize the local mass sports movement.

Hong Phong Ward came in second to the regret of fans.

With the spirit of sportsmanship, honesty, and solidarity, the players have given the audience many beautiful plays, attractive matches, and high professional quality. Although the weather was sometimes unfavorable, the matches were still exciting, receiving enthusiastic cheers from a large number of fans, creating an exciting and cheerful sports atmosphere.
