
“The Red River calls, the great forest roars” is one of the special programs in the series of events of the Thang Long - Hanoi Festival 2025. Where the gong sounds of the mountains and forests blend with the breath of the land of thousands of years of civilization, creating a unique and warm cultural space.
The performances at the show were performed under the lights of a modern stage, the audience was immersed in the musical space of the mountains and forests with the opening gong performance, stirring up the night by the Tarzan Tay Nguyen band in collaboration with the Gia Lai Gong band; followed by familiar performances such as Konia Tree Shadow, Highland Fire Pearl, Pleiku Eyes... performed by People's Artist Ro Cham Phiang, Meritorious Artist Ploong Thiet, Meritorious Artist Thuy Anh, singers Brice Liem, Khang Ngoc and the Moc Gia Lai band.

At the same time, the program celebrates the 20th anniversary of UNESCO's recognition of the Central Highlands Gong Culture as a masterpiece of intangible cultural heritage and oral tradition of humanity (November 25, 2005 - November 25, 2025). After Hue Royal Court Music, the Central Highlands Gong Culture is the second intangible cultural heritage of Vietnam to be honored as a world heritage.
The melodies of the great forest resounding in the heart of Thang Long - Hanoi have brought about a warm exchange. Thereby contributing to honoring and preserving cultural values, strengthening national solidarity.

The music night ended with the medley "Joining Hands Together" sung by the artists, the performance portrayed the message of connecting cultures between regions, to honor the value of national heritage and arouse pride in the identity of the Vietnamese people.
