On the afternoon of October 7, the organizing committee of the Keo Pagoda Festival in the fall of 2024 held a meeting to review the content of the festival's opening art program.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism spoke at the meeting.

The opening ceremony of the Keo Pagoda Festival in the fall will take place at 8:10 p.m. on October 12 (September 10, Giap Thin year) at the special national relic Keo Pagoda, Duy Nhat commune (Vu Thu). The art program in the opening ceremony of the festival has a structure of 3 chapters, 60 minutes in duration, performed by artists from art units across the country such as: Thai Binh Cheo Theater, Army Music and Dance Theater, Nam Dinh Traditional Art Theater... The program has an epic tone, harmoniously combining commentary, documentary images on the LED screen and multi-layered choreography performed on the live stage, in which, some typical folk dances such as frog-catching dance, rowing and traditional sports with the martial spirit of Thai Binh residents such as rowing, walking, pushing sticks, wrestling... are simulated and recreated.

Leaders of Vu Thu District People's Committee spoke at the meeting.

The art program is not only a highlight in the series of activities taking place at the Keo Pagoda Festival in the fall of 2024, but also contributes to highlighting the traditional cultural, patriotic and revolutionary values ​​of Thai Binh homeland; introducing the potential and advantages for the development of spiritual and ecological tours and routes, and inviting investors to Thai Binh.
