Speaking with VietNamNet reporter on the afternoon of February 1, Mr. Tran Trung Hieu, Vice Chairman of Nghia Hung District People's Committee, said that the person who caused the accident was Mr. Mai Van N., Secretary of Nam Dien Commune.
"Currently, the authorities are detaining Mr. N. to investigate the cause of the accident," Mr. Hieu informed.
Regarding the above incident, the leader of the People's Committee of Rang Dong town, Nghia Hung district said that the two victims were C. and T. (16 years old, in Nghia Lam commune, Nghia Hung district).
Accordingly, at around 8:00 p.m. last night (January 31), in the Dong Binh residential area (Rang Dong town), two female students were riding an electric bike home from school when they collided with a car going in the same direction.
The strong collision threw the two children onto the road and they died on the spot.
Immediately after receiving the information, Rang Dong town police were present to protect the scene, coordinate with district police to investigate and clarify the cause of the accident.
