Tam Duong strives to achieve double-digit growth target

Socio-economic development results are very positive.

Aiming for double-digit growth, right from the beginning of the year, Tam Duong District People's Committee has developed a plan and implemented synchronous solutions with the spirit of clear people, clear work, clear implementation time, clear results, and clear responsibilities.

Employment creation in Tam Duong district has achieved many positive results, contributing to promoting economic development and ensuring social security in the locality.

In the first quarter of 2025, Tam Duong district continued to achieve many important achievements in socio-economic development, contributing to stabilizing people's lives and promoting sustainable growth. The report of the district People's Committee showed that the economic, educational, health, cultural and social sectors all had positive changes.

Agricultural production growth momentum was maintained steadily, with the total cultivated area reaching 3,723.98 hectares, up 1.02% over the same period last year. Livestock development with the number of poultry flocks increasing rapidly, ensuring food supply.

The industry and construction sector also recorded progress when many large projects such as Tam Duong I Industrial Park, Tam Duong II Industrial Park - Zone A continued to accelerate. In addition, the trade and service sector developed well, market management was strengthened to ensure supply and demand of goods. Financial and credit services were maintained stably, contributing to supporting businesses and people to access effective loan sources.

Total state budget revenue in the first quarter reached 614,642 million VND, of which district budget revenue was 443,655 million VND, commune budget revenue was 143,529 million VND, equal to 56% of the provincial budget estimate and the district People's Council's estimate. Disbursement of public investment capital reached 28% of the assigned plan, equal to 33% of the allocated capital.

In particular, in recent years, the job creation work in Tam Duong district has achieved many positive results, contributing greatly to economic development and ensuring social security in the locality. In the first 3 months of 2025 alone, Tam Duong district created new jobs for 958 workers, of which 575 were in the industry - construction sector; 110 in agriculture - rural areas; 242 in trade - services; and 31 in labor export.

Creating jobs not only solves the difficult problem of idle agricultural labor in rural areas but also helps people with jobs stabilize their lives, support their families in economic development, and increase their income. Creating jobs also contributes to increasing the rate of well-off and rich households, reducing the rate of poor households in the district. Up to now, the number of poor households in the district has decreased to 130 households, accounting for 0.36%; the number of near-poor households is 523 households, accounting for 1.46%.

Expect 5 breakthrough solutions

Promoting the achieved results and realizing the growth targets of the whole year, accurately determining the tasks and providing implementation solutions is considered by Tam Duong district as an important and decisive task.

Prioritizing speeding up site clearance for key projects is one of the solutions implemented by Tam Duong district to achieve the goal of double-digit growth.

Accordingly, in 2025, the district sets the following targets: For the industrial and construction sectors, strive for a growth rate of 12%. Agriculture, forestry and fishery maintain a growth rate of 5%. The service sector achieves a growth rate of 10%. In addition, the district also sets a target of state budget revenue of VND 1,235 billion, an increase of 13% compared to the original plan, of which domestic revenue accounts for VND 376 billion.

To realize the above goals, Tam Duong district focuses on 5 main groups of solutions. Priority is given to accelerating site clearance for key projects such as Tam Duong I Industrial Park, Tam Duong II Industrial Park, Hoang Lau Industrial Cluster, Hop Thinh and major traffic routes such as Road 309B, Road 310C to attract investment.

Promote the auction of land use rights of 239 plots of land belonging to 6 projects in Hoang Lau, Duy Phien, Hop Thinh, Hoang Dan, An Hoa communes and Hop Hoa town. At the same time, prepare procedures to auction 400 more plots of land in 4 other projects in 2025 to increase budget revenue from land auctions.

Strongly apply digital transformation in budget collection and expenditure, ensuring transparency and efficiency. Non-urgent expenditures will be cut to prioritize social security programs and key projects.

Require investors to speed up the construction progress of projects, strive to disburse public investment capital to reach 95%. Review projects that are behind schedule or unfeasible and will have their capital recovered.

At the same time, improve discipline and administrative order, strengthen inspection and supervision, strictly handle cases of irresponsibility and shirking of work; reform administration, improve the quality of online public services to better serve people and businesses.

With the spirit of "clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities", Tam Duong district hopes to create positive changes, contributing to sustainable local socio-economic development. Thereby completing the double-digit growth target by 2025.
