Vinh Phuc has a library staff member who won the Reading Culture Development Award.

On May 7, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a ceremony to summarize and award the 7th Reading Culture Development Award to 20 collectives and 15 individuals with outstanding achievements across the country.

Ms. Ha Thi Hau, librarian of Xuan Hoa Secondary School (Lap Thach) was honored to be one of 15 outstanding individuals nationwide to receive the 7th Reading Culture Development Award.

Ms. Hau was trained in library science at Vinh Phuc College and has been a school librarian for 20 years in Lap Thach district. During her career, Ms. Hau has continuously achieved excellent results in her professional work and is a key staff member of the Lap Thach district Department of Education and Training in library development.

She actively participates in activities such as organizing Book Day and Reading Culture in schools; guiding and spreading the love of books to students. She is also a typical writer of the Department of Education and Training's Electronic Information Page and a number of newspapers and magazines in the province, having many articles contributing to spreading and helping many students with difficult circumstances to rise up in life...

Previously, in 2024, the provincial Department of Education and Training had Ms. Dam Thi Hang, librarian of Trung Nhi Primary School (Phuc Yen) honored as the only school librarian in the North to receive the 6th Reading Culture Development Award.
