On May 8, the Yen My District Red Cross Association organized a donation of 40 million VND to support the repair of a humanitarian house for Ms. Do Thi Thom, in Lieu Trung village, Lieu Xa commune (Yen My).

Yen My District Red Cross Society awarded funding to support house repairs for Ms. Do Thi Thom, in Lieu Xa Commune (Yen My).

Mrs. Thom's old house was dilapidated and leaky. Mrs. Thom was single, had a history of mental illness, unstable work, and difficult circumstances.

With the financial support from the District Red Cross Society and contributions and help from relatives, Mrs. Thom's old house has been completely repaired with the roof, walls, and floor meeting the 3 hard requirements (hard floor, hard wall, hard roof) and the door has been repaired, replaced, and reinforced to help Mrs. Thom have a stable place to live and secure her life.
