On the afternoon of October 29, Tan Cang – Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) welcomed the mother ship MOL EXPERIENCE, with a capacity of approximately 63,000 DWT, to dock for cargo handling. This is the first ship on the SX2/FL2 service route operated by two shipping lines, Ocean Network Express (ONE) and HMM. This route is the first journey in the system of Tan Cang Saigon Corporation (TCSG) directly connecting Vietnam with South America.
The SX2/FL2 route helps shorten the time for transporting goods between Vietnam and Brazil, only about 30 days from Santos to Cai Mep, while reducing logistics costs and expanding trade opportunities for businesses.

The route passes through major ports including Cai Mep - Busan - Hong Kong - Rio Grande - Itapoá - Santos - Singapore, increasing the connectivity of the regional logistics chain.
With the SX2/FL2 route, TCIT increases the total number of regularly operated international service routes to 12 routes/week, continuing to expand the network connecting the Americas and Europe.
