Opening of dry port at Moc Bai international border gate area

On the morning of December 25, at Moc Bai border gate economic zone (Loi Thuan commune, Ben Cau district, Tay Ninh province), Tan Cang Tay Ninh Joint Stock Company under Tan Cang Saigon Corporation just opened a depot at Tan Cang Moc Bai dry port.

Tan Cang Moc Bai dry port is located in Moc Bai port economic zone with a total area of ​​over 16 hectares, invested by Tan Cang Tay Ninh Joint Stock Company with a total cost of 552 billion VND.

The first container of goods passed through Tan Cang Moc Bai depot.

The project is invested in construction including container yard, CFS warehouse, control, parking and storage area,... with modern equipment including 3 RTG 6+1 cranes, 5 forklifts/empty trucks, 50 tractors, 50 trailers...

Initially, Tan Cang Tay Ninh will have 2 hectares put into operation at Tan Cang Moc Bai depot with newly invested equipment, including: new generation empty forklifts, information and communication systems, internet, high-speed wifi serving operations, production and business at ICD; security camera surveillance system serving customs and goods control at ICD.

In addition, Tan Cang Tay Ninh uses TCIS's TTOTS software in management and operation with the aim of improving efficiency and digitalization in the business development process of port exploitation and logistics services.

Currently, SITC shipping line has opened the code with some lines of SITC-TC, SNL, SJJ, NOS, ASL, TCL. After the Depot is put into operation, Tan Cang Tay Ninh will cooperate with shipping lines to effectively exploit the depot. Tan Cang Tay Ninh will also upgrade and renovate the project connection road with zero point so that means of transport can circulate smoothly from Cambodia to Vietnam.

As a centralized customs clearance point, businesses can now complete customs procedures at Tan Cang Moc Bai Dry Port, shortening the customs clearance process at border gates and seaports, and improving the efficiency of inspection of import and export goods between Vietnam and Cambodia.
