Strengthening inspection and examination of high school graduation exam in 2025

NDO - The inspection and examination work of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam has been basically maintained stable, inheriting effective experiences from previous years and making appropriate adjustments to suit reality.

Sharing about the inspection and examination activities of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, Director of the Department of Quality Management ( Ministry of Education and Training ) Huynh Van Chuong said: The purpose of this work is to contribute to helping the exam take place safely, seriously, in accordance with the exam regulations and related documents.

Timely grasping of the exam situation will support management agencies, organizations and individuals participating in the exam to comply with regulations and fully comply with the instructions of the Ministryof Education and Training. At the same time, it will contribute to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management activities; protecting the interests of the State, as well as the legitimate rights and interests of agencies, organizations and individuals related to the exam.

This work also aims to prevent and detect limitations, shortcomings, and violations for handling or recommending handling if any. On that basis, recommending competent authorities to complete regulations related to the exam in the following years.

Director Huynh Van Chuong also said that the inspection and examination work of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam has been basically maintained stable, continuing to inherit the contents implemented in the exams in 2022, 2023 and 2024, while making adjustments suitable to the practical situation of this year.

Inspection and examination activities continue to ensure independence of the inspected and examined subjects in all stages of the exam. According to regulations, those who have participated in the inspection team for essay marking will not be allowed to participate in the review inspection team for essay examinations; similarly, those who have participated in the inspection team for multiple-choice examinations will not be allowed to participate in the review inspection team for multiple-choice examinations.

In addition, the Ministry of Education and Training also clearly stipulates the "7 no" principle for inspectors and examiners. Accordingly, officers are not allowed to sign the seal of the cabinet containing exam papers and test papers at the examination site; not to sign the seal of the room containing exam papers, cabinets, boxes or items containing exam bags in the examination marking area; not to sign the minutes of closing or opening the room containing exam papers, the examination marking room, cabinets, boxes or items containing exam papers.

In addition, the inspection team did not witness the plagiarism in the quarantine area; did not sign the minutes of the essay test score entry by the score entry team and did not sign the minutes of sealing the 2 CDs containing the test results data; did not sign the minutes of the Essay Test Review Board; did not sign the minutes recording the process of using phones and computers in the areas where exam papers were printed, invigilated, plagiarized essay tests, graded, reviewed by the examination council and the test scores.

With clear, strict and consistent regulations, inspection and examination work is expected to contribute significantly to the successful organization of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.
