Donated nearly 16 tons of animal feed to 20 households in Hop Thinh commune

BAC NINH - In order to help livestock households affected by storm No. 11 overcome, on October 29, Agriculture and Environment Newspaper coordinated with United Feed Mill Vietnam Limited Liability Company to donate nearly 16 tons of pig feed to households in Hop Thinh commune.

Households receive livestock feed support.

In this donation, 20 affected livestock farming households were supported by United Feed Mill Vietnam Co., Ltd. with a total of 15,870 tons of various types of animal feed with a total value of 200 million VND.

Including 7.8 tons of complete mixed feed in pellet form for pigs from 60 - 90 kg; 4.02 tons of complete mixed feed for pigs from 30 - 60 kg; 3 tons of complete mixed feed for pigs from weaning to 30 kg and 1.05 tons of complete mixed feed for piglets from weaning to 7-14 days after weaning or for piglets from weaning to 15 kg.

According to Mr. Le Trong Dam, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Agriculture and Environment Newspaper, in the face of the damage caused by natural disasters to livestock farmers in the provinces of Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Cao Bang, Ha Giang ..., Agriculture and Environment Newspaper has called for and received the response of United Feed Mill Vietnam Limited Liability Company to share the difficulties with livestock farmers in the last period of the year to carry out herd restoration and production recovery after floods.

On behalf of the People's Committee of Hop Thinh commune, Mr. Nguyen Van Hao, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, thanked the support of the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper and United Feed Mill Vietnam Limited Liability Company. During the recent flood, Hop Thinh commune suffered property damage with a total value of more than 40 billion VND, in which the livestock sector suffered very heavy losses. According to the statistics of the People's Committee, the whole commune had more than 13,000 pigs, buffaloes, cows and nearly 44,000 poultry, waterfowl and quail damaged.

Song Thien Duc Joint Stock Company donated 3.5 tons of fish fry to Tien Luc commune.

On the same day, Song Thien Duc Joint Stock Company, Mao Dien Ward ( Bac Ninh ) donated 3.5 tons of fish fry to aquaculture farmers in Tien Luc Commune to restore production after the flood. In order to help people raise fish effectively, Song Thien Duc Joint Stock Company organized training and guided farmers on fish farming techniques.
