With 10 communes and towns along the Tam Dao mountain range: Ky Phu, La Bang, Hoang Nong, Phu Xuyen, Quan Chu... Dai Tu has beautiful natural lakes and waterfalls that captivate people's hearts, and endless tea hills, creating a landscape that is both majestic, peaceful and poetic.

Seeing the potential of tourism, Dai Tu has gradually developed tourism products based on the conditions of the district, which are: Community tourism, agriculture associated with tea culture; historical and spiritual tourism; ecological and resort tourism. Dai Tu's goal is to gradually turn tourism into an important economic sector of the district.

Accordingly, Dai Tu has planned tourist attractions in the district, at the same time arranged funds, mobilized resources to invest in infrastructure construction, expanded and restored relics such as: National historical relic site of Van Mountain - Vo Mountain, National historical relic site 27-7, National historical relic site where the first Communist Party base of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee was established, Youth Volunteer Historical Relic... with a total cost of nearly 300 billion VND.

Along with that, the district focuses resources and invests heavily in developing transport infrastructure, to facilitate people's travel, as well as attract tourists.

In addition, the district has promoted propaganda work and organized training courses on tourism for officials and civil servants in charge of tourism at the commune level. Training on rural tourism development in La Bang and Hoang Nong communes for hamlet chiefs, party cell secretaries, key members, and local cultural and artistic clubs.

Organize for officials and entities to participate in tourism service activities, learn practical experiences in developing community tourism and rural tourism in the provinces: Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, Thanh Hoa... Thereby helping to raise awareness, skills, and change the mindset about tourism of local officials and people.

The community tourism, rural tourism, and experiential tourism models have spread widely, creating consensus among people to participate in tourism. In communes and towns with natural tourism resources and traditional culture that attract tourists (such as La Bang, Hoang Nong, Quan Chu communes...), many families have invested in building homestays and developing accommodation and food services.

Some cooperatives and tea production facilities have built processing areas, product display and sales areas, and spacious tea-enjoying spaces to accommodate large groups of visitors. In addition to community tourism models associated with tea culture, other agricultural experiential tourism models have also appeared in the district, such as the grape and strawberry garden experience model in Khoi Ky commune, grapefruit garden in Hoang Nong commune, flower garden in La Bang commune, etc.

Tan Son homestay area (Kem hamlet, La Bang commune, Dai Tu) is located among green tea hills, an ideal resort for tourists.

In particular, in the two communes of La Bang and Hoang Nong, eco-tourism, cultural, historical, spiritual, community tourism, and agriculture associated with tea culture have been formed. Combining experiential tourism with spiritual culture, preserving and promoting festivals such as: Dai Tu Tea Festival, Nghe Festival, Van Mountain - Vo Mountain Festival; intangible cultural heritages such as Then singing and Tinh lute of the Tay ethnic group, Cap Sac ceremony, Nhay festival of the Dao ethnic group, Soong Co singing of the San Diu and San Chay ethnic groups... to serve visitors to visit, travel, and relax.

To make tourism products more attractive, La Bang commune has established a traditional art troupe to serve tourists so that they can enjoy and learn more about the traditional culture of the ethnic minorities here. Initially, there has been a connection, forming eco-tours combined with visiting historical sites associated with tours such as: Nui Coc Lake - 27-7 Relic - Truc Lam Tay Truc Zen Monastery; Nui Coc Lake - 27-7 Relic - where the first Communist Party base of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee was established - La Bang Tea Cultural Space - Kem Stream...
