US Magazine: Da Nang is the tourist capital of Central Vietnam

Travel+Leisure introduces a series of the most interesting experiences that tourists must do when coming to Da Nang and Hoi An, with many compliments for Ba Na.

In an article published in a famous American travel magazine, author Lakshmi Sharath called Da Nang the tourism capital of Central Vietnam, with luxury resorts spread along the length of the beach, bustling bars and restaurants along the banks of the Han River. In particular, the author of the article also called the giant bridges spanning mountains and rivers the symbol of Da Nang.

That is why, at the beginning of the article suggesting interesting activities that tourists can experience when coming to Da Nang and Hoi An, author Lakshmi Sharath compared the Golden Bridge - the only bridge that does not cross any river in Da Nang - to the spectacular transformation of the Han River city.

“Looking at the iconic Golden Bridge, cradled by two giant moss-covered hands, you will realize the story of Da Nang's transformation from an unremarkable tropical coastal city to a vibrant tourist magnet, all like a real-life fairy tale,” she wrote.

Five years since its launch, the “phenomenon” of Golden Bridge has proven its undiminished appeal to international media. The bridge is considered a “tourism ambassador” of Da Nang, affirming the appeal of tourism products created by humans, in addition to the beauty and natural appeal bestowed upon each destination.

Previously, the Golden Bridge was also in the top of the list of “100 best destinations in the world in 2018” voted by TIME magazine, just two months after its launch. At the same time, the famous British daily Guardian honored the Golden Bridge in the “Top 10 bridges with the most unique and beautiful architecture in the world”.

Daily Mail voted Golden Bridge as one of the 10 new wonders of the world in March 2021. Meanwhile, Sun World Ba Na Hills tourist area was suggested by Travel+Leisure as the best experience for tourists with their families in Da Nang and Hoi An.
