Mirae Asset Group awards scholarships worth over 4 billion VND to students

Continuing the 2022 scholarship awarding journey, the "Future Aspiration Fund" under Mirae Asset Group (Korea) continues to implement the "Future Aspiration Funding 2023" scholarship program. The scholarship awarding ceremony for university students in Vietnam took place in Ho Chi Minh City on the afternoon of January 5 with a total value of more than 4 billion VND, providing financial support to students at 12 schools nationwide.

The scholarships are awarded to students with difficult circumstances, who have the will to improve their lives and achieve high academic results. Through the selection process, the fund has selected 164 excellent students from more than 1,000 applications to award scholarships in 2023, with the highest value reaching 115 million VND/scholarship. In addition, the fund has implemented student exchange scholarships to study abroad in countries such as Korea, Japan, Poland and Germany.

On this occasion, Mirae Asset Securities Company (Vietnam) also signed a multi-faceted cooperation agreement with the University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and the University of Economics and Law (National University of Ho Chi Minh City). Mirae Asset Securities will be the place to train, practice and provide professional guidance for students who want to experience practical work in the securities field. In return, universities will be a source of high-quality human resources for Mirae Asset Securities Company.

"Future Aspiration Fund" was established in April 2022 with 4 founding members: Mirae Asset Securities Company (Vietnam), Mirae Asset Finance Company (Vietnam), Mirae Asset Fund Management Company (Vietnam) and Mirae Asset Prévoir Life Insurance Company. In addition, Mirae Asset Group also launched the Mirae Asset Park Hyeon Joo Foundation in 2000. Over the past 23 years of operation, this fund has helped more than 43,000 people achieve their dreams and reach out to the world .
