Training on admission to grade 10 high school for the 2023-2024 school year

(CT) - The Departmentof Education and Training (DoET) of Can Tho City organized a training course on software usage and enrollment organization for grade 10 high school in the 2023-2024 school year.

Can Tho candidates take the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2022-2023 school year.

Accordingly, the Department will provide training on how to use the enrollment software from April 13 to 15; training on organizing enrollment and instructions on how to use the 10th grade enrollment registration form for homeroom teachers of grade 9 for the 2022-2023 school year from April 20 to 22. Online enrollment counseling for parents of students whose children are taking the exam will take place at 6 p.m. on May 6, at online connection points between the Department of Education and Training and high schools.

The above activities aim to support units participating in the 10th grade high school admissions for the 2023-2024 school year to use the admissions software proficiently and effectively; help the management team and homeroom teachers grasp the admissions policies and methods to do a good job of consulting and guiding admissions at the unit. At the same time, help parents understand the city's policies and methods of admissions to 10th grade high school for the 2023-2024 school year; the meaning and form of selection, and how to register for the exam so that together with students, they can decide to register for admission to suitable high schools.

The exam is scheduled to take place on June 5 and 6, 2023; with 3 exams: Math, Foreign Language, Literature. On June 7, the exam will be held for specialized subjects of Ly Tu Trong High School for the Gifted. Students who have graduated from junior high school can register for a maximum of 5 wishes.
