Focus on implementing tasks to develop the semiconductor industry

DNO - On the afternoon of August 30, concluding the conference on Connecting Supply and Demand of Semiconductor Human Resources in Da Nang City during "Da Nang Semiconductor Day 2024", Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh said that the city government will make efforts to concretize the proposed solutions. Thereby, developing the Vietnamese semiconductor industry in general and Da Nang city in particular.

Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Ho Ky Minh said that the event "Da Nang Semiconductor Day 2024" marks nearly a year since the city's leaders focused resources on developing the semiconductor sector.

Thereby, demonstrating the high determination of the entire political system in grasping trends, accessing the value chain, promoting human resource training and building a complete ecosystem to develop the semiconductor and artificial intelligence industry.

The event is also an opportunity for state agencies, businesses, organizations, training institutions, and domestic and foreign experts in the field of semiconductors to connect, share experiences, and promote cooperation for the goal of developing the semiconductor industry in Vietnam in general and Da Nang city in particular.

The city expects that lecturers in the field of semiconductors will continue to accompany the city in training the next generation of excellent students in the field of semiconductors.

In addition, the units assigned to the Project "Development of semiconductor microchips and artificial intelligence in Da Nang city" focus on effectively implementing the tasks and solutions set out; promptly report difficulties and problems, contributing to completing the goal of training 5,000 semiconductor microchip engineers of the city by 2030 on time, providing enough high-quality human resources for businesses operating in the city and the region.

The organizations that signed the memorandum of understanding today will promptly implement the signed contents, closely coordinate with units in the city to deploy contents related to human resource training, contributing to building a semiconductor ecosystem in the city.

The Da Nang Center for Research and Training in Microchip Design and Artificial Intelligence continues to effectively implement and strengthen cooperation with domestic and international training institutions, organizations and enterprises; continues to build and effectively implement human resource training programs for the city in the field of semiconductor microchips combined with artificial intelligence.

Regarding businesses and training facilities, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee hopes to continue to accompany the city, closely coordinate in building training programs and roadmaps, helping the development of human resources in semiconductors and artificial intelligence to ensure both quality and progress in the coming time.
