Ship 467 of Navy Region 4 successfully rescued a fishing boat from Binh Dinh.

On November 21, Ship 467 of Navy Region 4 successfully rescued a Binh Dinh fishing boat with engine failure in the Phu Quy island area.

Accordingly, after completing the mission at Da Tay Island, on the way back to the unit, Ship 467 received an order from the Naval Region 4 Command to rescue fishing boat BD 96095TS/02LD which had engine failure and was drifting at position 10°24N - 110°57'E about 120 nautical miles (East Southeast of Phu Quy Island/ Binh Thuan ).

Ship 467 maneuvered to approach the distressed fishing boat at 11:30 the same day in the Northeast of Hon Hai. There were 2 fishermen on board in normal health; the fishing boat had a damaged valve and a broken main engine piston that could not be repaired. At 12:00 the same day, Ship 467 organized to make a towline, and at 14:00, began to pull the distressed fishing boat.

It is expected that at 8:00 a.m. on November 23, 2024, Ship 467 will arrive at Ba Ngoi port and hand over the fishing vessel to the Border Guard and local authorities according to regulations.
