The sailing ship Le Quy Don of the Vietnam Navy leaves port for Thailand and Cambodia.

Participating in this practical training trip at sea were leaders of the Naval Academy, representatives of functional agencies of the Navy and cadets of the platoon-level officer training course, course 58 of the Naval Academy.

The purpose of this trip of the Le Quy Don sailing ship is to consolidate and strengthen the friendship, cooperation, understanding and mutual trust between the Vietnamese army and navy and the armies and navies of countries in the region, including Cambodia and Thailand.

This practical training trip to sea will last for one month. This is also an opportunity for the trainees to improve their command skills, equipment and weapon operations, and handling real-life situations, combined with patrolling, reconnaissance, and understanding the situation at sea for the 58th naval officer training course before graduation.
