Tay Ninh successfully organized the Investment Promotion and Connection Workshop in Tokyo

On August 6, 2025, at Tokyo Dome Hotel (Japan), the Tay Ninh province investment promotion delegation led by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh successfully organized the Tokyo - Tay Ninh Investment Promotion and Connection Workshop in 2025.

The workshop was organized by Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee in coordination with Saigon VRG Investment Joint Stock Company, chaired by Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh, with the participation of Ms. Vu Nhat Ha - Counselor in charge of investment, Embassy of Vietnam in Japan and leaders of Japanese agencies, organizations and enterprises.

Speaking at the workshop, Vice Chairman of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the presence of Japanese enterprises - partners who have been investing and accompanying Tay Ninh on its development journey, with 173 Japanese FDI projects in Tay Ninh, total capital of over 1.2 billion USD, ranking 4th in terms of the number of projects and investment capital out of the total number of investment partners in the province, demonstrating the strong confidence of Japanese investors in the business environment in the province.

The leader of Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the province is gradually affirming its position as an attractive investment destination in the Southern region, with outstanding advantages in terms of geographical location, abundant land fund, young, high-quality human resources and a constantly improving investment environment.

Tay Ninh is promoting investment in inter-regional transport infrastructure systems such as the Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai, Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa, Go Dau - Xa Mat expressways, Ring Road 3 and Ring Road 4, etc., completing the transport system and developing logistics services. The province also focuses on building border economic zones such as Moc Bai, Xa Mat, Long An to become new growth drivers, associated with the orientation of industrial, urban and border trade development.

With the spirit of accompanying businesses to create development, the leaders of Tay Ninh province are committed to continuing to create an open, stable and effective investment environment; at the same time, they are ready to welcome long-term cooperation from the Japanese business community in the coming time.

At the Workshop, Mr. Lu Thanh Nha - General Director of VRG Company gave an overview of Phuoc Dong Industrial Park, the largest industrial park in Tay Ninh province, with a total area of about 2,436 hectares, of which the area for the industrial park accounts for about 2,189 hectares.

The industrial park is strategically located on Provincial Road 782, conveniently connected to National Highway 22B, Ho Chi Minh City - Moc Bai Expressway, Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 and international border gates such as Moc Bai, with complete logistics infrastructure. The industrial park is invested with synchronous and modern technical infrastructure, a system of pre-built factories and design - construction services on demand (BTS) to meet diverse production needs.

Japanese investors asked questions and discussed with the delegation of Tay Ninh province.

Mr. Lu Thanh Nha said that Phuoc Dong Industrial Park is actively expanding its clean land fund with hundreds of hectares available for lease, in order to welcome the new wave of investment from international corporations, especially Japanese enterprises. The industrial park is oriented to attract clean industry, high technology, precision mechanics, medical equipment manufacturing, electronic components, supporting industries, processed foods and industries supporting the global supply chain. VRG representative affirmed the desire to accompany Japanese enterprises in forming a sustainable industrial ecosystem, contributing directly to promoting economic restructuring, improving production capacity and developing modern industry in Tay Ninh province.

At the investment connection session, many Japanese enterprises and corporations participated in discussing issues of interest to each side related to the investment environment, attraction policies and economic and industrial development orientation of Tay Ninh province.

Representatives of provincial departments and branches also directly discussed and answered many issues raised by Japanese enterprises related to the fields of transportation, land, construction and investment procedures. Specific and clear responses contributed to helping investors better understand the potential as well as current preferential policies.

Japanese enterprises have positively evaluated the quality of technical infrastructure, land fund in industrial parks, as well as the ability to connect inter-regional traffic in Tay Ninh. Many investors said they will continue to organize in-depth working sessions and send survey teams in the coming time to learn more about investment.

The positive connections at this event are an important foundation to promote more specific cooperation in the coming time, creating a driving force for sustainable development for the province and opening up opportunities to attract investment from Japanese partners.

Following the positive results of the first working day, the Tay Ninh delegation will continue to meet and work with agencies, organizations and businesses in Tokyo to discuss specific areas of potential cooperation. With the spirit of initiative, openness and strong commitment of the locality, the working trip is expected to open up practical cooperation opportunities in attracting FDI from Japan.
