Techfest Vietnam 2024 takes place from November 26-28 in Hai Phong

Techfest Vietnam is the largest annual event for creative startups in Vietnam, gathering experts and prestigious domestic and foreign startup support organizations to provide directions for developing the creative startup ecosystem.

Kicking off Techfest Vietnam 2024 is the final round of the National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition taking place on the morning of November 26. The competition is one of the most popular activities within the framework of Techfest Vietnam, jointly implemented by the National Center for Supporting Creative Startups and the Startup Vietnam Foundation.

"The organization and launch of the National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition has helped inspire, motivate, promote the desire to start a business, innovation, entrepreneurial spirit, and start-up desire in most classes and generations of people, especially among the youth. It can be said that this has truly become an intellectual playground, sharing values ​​to promote the desire to start a business and creating a favorable environment for all generations of people to form and realize ideas and start-up projects," Mr. Tran Quang Tuan, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong City emphasized.

Yeast Era Joint Stock Company won the 2024 National Creative Startup Talent Search Competition.

In 2024, the competition attracted nearly 500 applications from provinces and cities across the country, nominations from more than 18 creative startup communities and provincial startup competitions. After 3 rounds of selection, the 5 best enterprises competed in the final round. The championship of this year's competition belonged to Yeast Era Joint Stock Company with a startup that produces protein from probiotics.

Also within the framework of Techfest Vietnam 2024, tomorrow (November 26), the VC Stage - Creative Startup Investment Conference will take place with the theme "Promoting the connection between investment funds and organizations supporting creative startups".

The conference is held with the expectation of promoting international cooperation between investment funds and local support organizations in startup support activities. In addition, the conference also offers a program to help improve the quality and competitiveness of local startups, helping them be more prepared in capital calling rounds. From there, the connection and cooperation between organizations will contribute to building a sustainable creative startup ecosystem, developing the local and national economy .
