The latest forecast from the Office of Agricultural Economics under the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives of Thailand said that the country's rice output is expected to decrease by 871,000 tons (equivalent to 3.27%) to 25.8 million tons in the 2023-2024 harvest season, mainly due to the El Nino weather phenomenon.Source
