Today (June 8) is the last exam day of the 10th grade entrance exam for the 2023-2024 school year in Thai Nguyen province. Over 1,100 candidates registered for admission to Thai Nguyen High School for the Gifted to take the exam in specialized subjects.

In the morning, candidates take specialized subjects: Literature, Math, English; in the afternoon, candidates take specialized subjects: History, Geography, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Informatics, Russian, French, Chinese.
According to a quick report from the Departmentof Education and Training, in the morning exam on June 8, 156/162 candidates registered for Math (6 absent); 162/170 candidates registered for Literature (8 absent); 282/286 candidates registered for English (4 absent).
In the afternoon, 86/86 candidates registered for Physics; 87/89 candidates registered for Chemistry (2 absent); 87/88 candidates registered for Biology (1 absent); 72/78 candidates registered for History (6 absent); 84/85 candidates registered for Geography (1 absent); 113/115 candidates registered for Russian (2 absent); 121/122 candidates registered for French (1 absent); 149/150 candidates registered for Chinese (1 absent) and 193/194 candidates registered for Information Technology (1 absent). The absent candidates did not have any reason.
Thus, after three days (from June 6-8), Thai Nguyen province completed the 10th grade entrance exam safely, objectively, and in accordance with regulations.
Immediately after the exam ended, the Department of Education and Training assigned 363 officials and teachers to mark the exams. At the same time, it assigned 25 officials and teachers to participate in marking the tests. On June 19, schools will announce the exam scores. From June 19 to 20, high schools will plan to enroll 10th grade students for the 2023-2024 school year.
