Accordingly, the mining industry increased by 10.1% compared to March, up 142% compared to April 2024; the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 2.6% compared to the previous month, up 7.3% compared to the same period in 2024; the electricity production and distribution industry decreased by 22.9% compared to the previous month, up 9.5% compared to the same period last year; the water supply and waste treatment industry increased by 0.1% compared to the previous month, down 4.9% compared to the same period in 2024.

In the first four months of 2025, Quang Nam's industrial production index increased by 13.4% over the same period. Of which, the mining industry increased by 62%; the processing and manufacturing industry increased by 12.7%; the electricity production and distribution industry increased by 24.6%; and the water supply and waste treatment industry increased by 2.4%.

The main industrial products of some industries that increased compared to the same period last year were construction stone; purified water; woven fabrics from cotton with cotton content of 85% or more; tire cord fabric; cardboard boxes and crates; sports shoes and sandals with leather uppers and outer soles; drinking water...

Meanwhile, industrial products that decreased compared to the same period included gold ore and gold concentrate; fresh water; frozen seafood; aquatic feed; fish fillets and other fresh and frozen fish meat; uniforms, jackets; professional clothing; wood shavings, etc.
