Thanh Hoa uses people's strength to benefit the people

Over the past 5 years, emulation movements in Thanh Hoa have been widely and creatively deployed, becoming increasingly substantive, becoming an important driving force to promote comprehensive development in all fields.

Along with effectively preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic, creating favorable conditions for socio-economic recovery and development, Thanh Hoa promotes the role of the political system, the people, mobilizes and effectively uses resources, and joins hands to build new rural areas.

The whole province has 531 more OCOP products, ranking 3rd in the country. Developing OCOP products associated with community tourism suggests a sustainable direction in preserving ecological diversity, national cultural identity associated with economic development, improving the material and spiritual life of people in rural and mountainous areas.

Four units in Thanh Hoa province were honored to receive the leading flag of the 2024 Patriotic Emulation Movement from the Government.

Promoting the emulation movement "For the poor - No one is left behind", Thanh Hoa promotes the responsibility of departments, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front, unions, provincial agencies and lowland districts to sponsor, help and cooperate with particularly disadvantaged communes in ethnic minority and mountainous areas to develop socio-economy, contributing to reducing the poverty rate by 1.56%/year.

The province mobilized more than 1,600 billion VND, supported nearly 54,000 working days, promptly completed the construction of 10,609 new houses, repaired 4,171 houses for poor households, policy households, and households with housing difficulties, combined with interspersed resettlement arrangements, proactively preventing natural disasters...

In their speeches at the congress, representatives of groups and individuals highlighted the work of consulting, fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue and relief; the development of science and technology, promoting comprehensive specialized healthcare, meeting the requirements of protecting, caring for and improving people's health; mobilizing the ^H'Mong people to abandon bad customs, establish a club to preserve brocade embroidery, and organize a national solidarity festival.

In recognition of outstanding achievements in the emulation movement nationwide to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025, the President awarded the Third Class Labor Medal to Thanh Hoa province; and awarded the Exploit Medal and Labor Medal to 6 individuals with outstanding achievements in their work.

Thanh Hoa province awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020-2025.

The Government awarded emulation flags to 4 groups; Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 26 groups and 295 groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement.

The Vice President directed Thanh Hoa to promote the patriotic emulation movement more strongly in the new period; continue to strongly innovate emulation and reward work in a serious, practical, effective and concrete manner. In particular, the emulation movement must become an important source of spiritual motivation, strengthening confidence, promoting pride, development aspirations, arousing the good values of Thanh people - patriotism, revolution, steadfastness, diligence, creativity, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility for the common cause, making worthy contributions to the development of the homeland and the country.

Continue to innovate comprehensive reward work, ensuring timeliness, fairness, substance, exemplary value and widespread dissemination in society; pay more attention to the grassroots, mountainous areas, ethnic minority areas, and direct labor and combat forces.

Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan emphasized: In the new period, patriotic emulation must truly be a revolutionary action movement, deeply permeating social life, becoming a voluntary action of each organization and individual, creating more motivation to bring Thanh Hoa to develop quickly and sustainably with the whole country.
