Previously, through the work of grasping the situation, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department (Thanh Hoa Provincial Police) coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ), Muong Lat District Police, the Provincial Border Guard and Thanh Hoa Customs Department, caught red-handed Vang A Tung (in Sai Khao village, Muong Ly commune, Muong Lat district) illegally transporting 14 kg of suspected synthetic drugs from Laos to Thanh Hoa for consumption.
At the police station, Tung confessed that the above evidence was synthetic drugs. Tung is also the leader of a drug trafficking ring along the Vietnam-Laos border into Thanh Hoa province.
Continuing to expand the investigation, Thanh Hoa police arrested two other suspects: Nguyen Minh Phong (born in 1993) and Nguyen Thanh Tung (born in 1992), both residing in Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province.
According to the initial investigation results of the authorities: Vang A Tung colluded with a number of Laotian subjects. Tung also connected with a number of subjects in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong and the two subjects mentioned above to form a closed drug trafficking and transportation line from Laos through Thanh Hoa and then transported to Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong for consumption.
The methods of buying, selling and transporting drugs of these subjects are also extremely sophisticated and cunning. They often contact and connect with each other through social networks, use phone SIM cards that are not their owners' names; when transporting drugs, they often change the means of transport, time of transport, and delivery location (mainly choosing late at night and early morning to deliver).
After successfully dismantling the above case, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police continued to organize professional measures and fight to eradicate the illegal drug trafficking ring operating in Thanh Hoa province. The police force arrested 5 subjects including: Nguyen Van Son (born in 1992, in Son Lu town, Quan Hoa district); Khuong Van Dung (born in 1990, in Thieu Hop commune, Thieu Hoa district); Nguyen Van Huy (born in 1968, in Thieu Khanh ward); Pham Van Tu (aka Tu cut, born in 1966, in Phu Son ward) and Nguyen The Viet (born in 1987, in Dong Ve ward), all in Thanh Hoa city, seized 2 heroin trees (67.39 grams); 3.359 grams of opium and many other related exhibits.
The leader of the above-mentioned drug trafficking and transportation ring is Pham Van Tu. To operate this ring, Tu connected with a number of Laotians to buy drugs, then colluded with other subjects to divide the drugs and sell them in Thanh Hoa city and many districts in the province. When the "goods" arrived in Thanh Hoa city, Tu would transfer them to other localities for sale. At each stage, according to Pham Van Tu's assignment, each subject in the ring would be responsible for very specific implementation, from the person whose name was on the shipment, the person receiving the order, receiving the goods, transporting, to the person paying...
Thanh Hoa police are continuing to investigate and expand the case.
