Celebrating Children's Day June 1, this is the third consecutive year that the Provincial Social Protection Center has organized practical recreational activities for children at the center and in the community. After the dynamic moments of playing folk games, dancing, singing... the impressive thing that made the children and the benefactors burst into tears was the "common birthday" party. Special children, orphans, slow learners... may not even know their date of birth, but here they enjoy the happiness of having the same birthday, cutting the cake together, and being happy together. Mr. Khanh (staff at the center) said that the children are starting their summer vacation, so the groups and volunteer organizations pay more attention to regularly organizing fun and healthy content.
The solemn party had 120 children, including: Children being cared for at the Provincial Social Protection Center; children who are children of union members at the center; children in difficult circumstances in the two wards of My Xuyen and My Hoa (Long Xuyen City); children being cared for at the Center for Orphans and Lonely ElderlyEducation in Long Xuyen City. Long Xuyen City Youth Union participated in cheering and playing games; the Organizing Committee gave gifts to all the children, celebrating June 1st as their birthday. Thanks to the companionship of the benefactors, the gifts every year are full and filled with love. The Board of Directors hopes that these acts of kindness will encourage and motivate the children to actively compete in studying well and nurturing good qualities.
