Thanh Loc meets advanced new rural commune standards

(ABO) On May 28, Cai Lay District People's Committee held a ceremony to announce the Decision of the Chairman of Tien Giang Provincial People's Committee recognizing Thanh Loc commune as meeting advanced new rural standards.

In 2025, the total average income per capita in Thanh Loc commune will reach 76.69 million VND/person/year, demonstrating remarkable economic development.

To achieve the goal of advanced NTM, the total budget implemented is 147,674 million VND. Of which, the resources contributed by the people account for the largest proportion at 48.27% (71,279 billion VND), demonstrating the spirit of unity and joining hands to build the homeland. Other sources of capital include: Provincial budget (26.55%), district budget (8.9%), commune budget (8.49%) and enterprise capital (7.79%).

Thanh Loc commune has been recognized by the People's Committee of Tien Giang province as meeting the new rural standards since 2019. After many years of maintaining and improving the quality, up to now, the commune has successfully completed the maintenance and improvement of 19 new rural commune criteria according to the set of new rural criteria for the period 2022 - 2025. The socio-economic infrastructure has developed rapidly, especially the traffic system, schools and cultural and sports institutions, creating a new look for the commune. Cultural, artistic and sports activities have been promoted; the qualityof education has been increasing; medical examination, treatment and health care for the people have achieved good results with a high rate of people participating in health insurance.

The political system is constantly being strengthened, the staff and civil servants are increasingly improved. Security and social order are maintained stably.

Speaking at the announcement ceremony, Vice Chairman of Cai Lay District People's Committee Tran Ly Ngu Binh emphasized: "Cai Lay District in general and Thanh Loc Commune in particular always identify building a new rural area as an important, regular, long-term political task of the entire political system, a central, continuous task of the Party Committee, government and people".

To continue promoting the achievements, in the coming time, Thanh Loc commune needs to strengthen propaganda work, raise awareness of policies and guidelines on building new rural areas, considering this a key political task. Promote the emulation movements "Joining hands to build new rural areas" and "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas". At the same time, the locality promotes the role of the people as the main subject, taking the interests of the people as the driving force, promoting proactiveness, creativity and solidarity in implementing new rural criteria. Mobilize the participation of all classes of people and businesses, take advantage of the contributions of social resources to create a spillover effect, and join hands to build sustainable new rural areas.

Thanh Loc commune achieving advanced NTM standards not only creates momentum to promote local socio-economic development, but also contributes to improving the material and spiritual life of the people, changing the appearance of the homeland to become more and more spacious and modern.
