The honoring of 50 typical works of Ho Chi Minh City aims to honor typical works, spread the architectural and technical values and dedication of the City's construction team, and at the same time arouse pride in the urban development journey of Ho Chi Minh City over the past 50 years since the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee organized a vote for 50 typical construction works/clusters of construction works of Ho Chi Minh City.

After 3 rounds of careful selection by the City-level Voting Council, 50 works/construction clusters were honored in groups with specific numbers: Medical works/construction clusters (08); Civil - industrial works/construction clusters (05); Cultural -educational works/construction clusters (17); Infrastructure - traffic works/construction clusters (15); Housing - urban area works/construction clusters (05).
These are projects regardless of investment method, identified for investment in the Resolution of the City Party Congress through the periods. The projects associated with the image of Ho Chi Minh City have been awarded prestigious domestic and international awards; with the participation, contribution and dedication of many classes of people. And especially, with regional connectivity, creating great momentum for the development of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and the whole country in general over the past 50 years.
